How to use it, step by step

1. Open Settings and find Appearance.
2. System is the default: light and dark follow your computer, accent colour included.
3. Choose Light or Dark to override it; the change applies everywhere immediately.

Why this beats the usual way

Theme ecosystems elsewhere mean choosing from ten thousand variants because the default is wrong. System-following as the default means most people never set anything, and the two overrides exist for those who want them.
