Tell me what changed
Updates · 1 min read
Now and then, a small card tells you what changed in the version you just got.
When you would want it
A feature nobody is told about may as well not exist. This is the one interruption Agentfly allows itself, so it is kept rare.
Where to find it

What you get out of it
- Features actually ship to you, rather than hiding in an update you never noticed.
- Never-on-first-install keeps the new-user experience clean.
How to use it, step by step
- On by default - occasionally, a small card tells you what your latest update changed.
- It appears at most once per version, and only when you are idle - never mid-typing, mid-command, or mid-debug.
- Minor fixes install silently; only releases worth reading announce themselves.
- Dismiss it and that version never asks again. Help - What's New holds every past note.
- A security fix is allowed to be less patient - it will not wait for a quiet moment, but it still respects a fully-switched-off setting.
Why this beats the usual way
The default industry behaviour is a modal on every upgrade. Four rules - once per version, idle-only, worth-reading-only, never-first-launch - keep this as the rare, useful kind of announcement.
