Zoom
Appearance · 1 min read
Makes the whole window bigger or smaller - menus, panels, buttons and text together.
When you would want it
On a big monitor across the room everything is tiny; on a small laptop you want more on screen. Zoom fixes both without touching your computer's display settings.
Where to find it
- All Features → Zoom
- Zoom in
- Zoom out
- Reset zoom
- Settings
- Keyboard → Ctrl/Cmd+=
What you get out of it
- Menus, panels, buttons and text grow together, so nothing ends up cramped or cut off.
- Your size is saved, so the window opens the way you left it - unlike a browser zoom that forgets.
- No trip to your computer's display settings, which would change every other app too.
How to use it, step by step
- Press Ctrl+= (Cmd+= on a Mac) to make the whole window bigger, one step at a time.
- Press Ctrl+- to make it smaller. The status bar says the new size, from 80% to 200%.
- Press Ctrl+0 to go back to 100%.
- Prefer to pick a number? Settings > Appearance > Zoom lists every size. View > Appearance has the same three commands.
Why this beats the usual way
Most editors zoom with the same keys but forget the level on restart, or hide it in a settings file. Agentfly keeps it as a setting you can see and pick, and the shortcuts and the Settings row always agree.
