What you get out of it
- Morning setup - reopen folder, reopen files, scroll back - disappears.
- Closing the app is free; nothing about your arrangement is lost.
How to use it, step by step
- On by default and invisible - close the window when you are done.
- Next launch reopens the same folder with the same tabs.
- Combined with terminal state and crash recovery, the session is the whole working position.
Why this beats the usual way
Reconstructing your layout by hand every morning is a silent tax most editors take for granted. Restoring by default costs nothing to anyone who did not need it.
